Description

Fusion dance blends ethnic and classical dance genres, to create a popular and interesting fluid form. To this interesting blend,we add geometry and lo and behold, we have created Maths in motion! We manage to generate a dance which is all about shapes, symmetry and explore movement and choreography like never before.

Activity Overview

Use dance movements to demonstrate geometric shapes and patterns that mimic symmetry, rotations, and transformations.
Music tracks must be submitted on a high-quality USB drive labelled with the school and participant’s name, containing only the event music.
Music should be age appropriate.
Costumes should be appropriate for all audiences and reflect the theme of the performance
Ensure that lifts, acrobatics, and other complex movements are performed safely.
Participants are responsible for setting up and removing props within the performance time.
