“Nav UTSAV” – Celebrating diversity

General Instructions

No Registration Fee- Participation is free of charge.
Exclusive event- Designed for students of Classes I – XII (Category wise).
Event Date- The event is scheduled for 29th and 30th November 2024 at Navkis Educational Centre, Kogilu campus.
Communication- Order of events of each day will be communicated by email to the Principal at the registered email id, one week before the event.
Registration- Only entries submitted from the registered School Email Id will be considered.
Adherence to theme – Ensure entries align with the Event theme. Non-compliance will lead to disqualification.
Teacher-in-charge- Each participating school must designate a Teacher in-charge, to handle all communications.

Important Dates & Procedures

Registration deadline- Last date for submission -9 th November 2024
Entries submission- Teams and individual events can submit their entries via a Google link https://drive.google.com/drive/folder s/1d8tc5ImZYzjW7t3Xiu-DMkQ3eor-eO0S? usp=drive_link and registration form enclosed in the Brochure. (Kindly refrain from sharing the registration link with the participants).
Preference – Participation will be on a “first come first serve” basis
Communication -All telephonic communication should be directed to the Coordinator incharge at the CTO Office between 2:30 p.m and 3:30 p.m ONLY.

Guidelines for Participants

Event details- Please carefully review all event details and carry the required materials for the competition
Prelims Timeline-Refer to the individual sheet for deadlines and adhere to the timeline for the Preliminary Round. Send the Rap for Revolution prelim video to the following Google Drive https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1d8tc5ImZYz jW7t3Xiu-DMkQ3eor-eO0S? usp=drive_link by 9 th November 2024.
Accompanying Teacher- The school can send a maximum of one accompanying teacher per 20 students.
Registration- Upon arrival, the participants and accompanying teachers are requested to confirm their presence and check all the details at the Registration Desk.
Students’ List- A list of participating students (Name and Class) to be carried on the school letter head and presented at the time of registration.
Dress Code-Participants will be required to come in complete school uniform. School ID is compulsory.
Events where students require a costume change will require them to carry the School ID.

Conduct of the Event

Event duration- Adherence to the event duration is mandatory.
No Substitutions – Substitutions are forbidden during the actual competition.
Fair Play-Using unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification.
Mobile Phones-Participants will submit their phones to their accompanying in-charge teacher.
Unauthorised use of mobile phones or gadgets during the event will result in confiscation. Phones and Gadgets can be collected from the ‘Help Me’ desk after the programme.
Disclosure of School Name- Participants should refrain from mentioning their school name during the performance. Each school will be assigned a code which is to be mentioned before the start of the performance
Support Materials- Any support material (e.g., USB drive) must to be submitted to the Event incharge teacher, 30 minutes prior to the event.

Conduct & Behaviour-

Judging & Results

Judgement criteria- Judgements will be based on the specific criteria outlined for each event
Final Decision- The Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
Result Announcement- Results will be announced at the end of each day.
Certificates & Awards- Winners will secure prizes/cash awards and Certificates of Merit.
The school with the maximum number of winners will be awarded the Overall Championship Trophy.

Additional Information

Prize Distribution-Participants are requested to join us for the Prize Distribution Ceremony to be conducted for the events on the respective days.
Lunch & Snacks-Participants are expected to carry their own snacks, water bottle and lunch. Students need to label their bags, indicating the school and the student’s name
Litter free zone-Please note that our school is a litter -free zone. Request everyone to keep the campus clean and drop the waste in the bins on every floor.
Transport – Schools must arrange their transport to and from the venue.
