Rap Songs are known to be a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates Rhyme, Rhythmic Speech and Street Vernacular. It is often used to impart a specific message to the listener. Deconstructing the mechanics and reaching to the masses is a whole new ball game. Inviting hip-hop superstars of today to drop jewels in the form of rap lyrics that will stay with you for years to come. So don your creative caps and belt out memorable lyrics that reverberate with the young crowd.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Round 1 - Prelims

Video Submission

Each team must submit a 1-minute video byte with a Rap song on any topic within the theme (Environment, Current Education trends) to the following Google Drive https://drive.google.com/drive/ folders/1d8tc5ImZYzjW7t3XiuDMkQ3eor-eO0S?usp=drive_link by 9 th November 2024
The video should showcase audio clarity, creativity, relevance to the theme and delivery.

Shortlisting Finalists

A panel of judges will evaluate the submitted videos based on originality, adherence to the theme, and overall performance.
Finalists will be shortlisted, selected and informed one week before the event.

Judgement criteria: Content & Relevance, Creativity & Originality, Rap Flow & Delivery, Team Coordination

Round 2: - Final Round

Topic Announcement

On the day of the event, the teams will be given a NEW common topic.
The topic will be provided 1 hour 30 minutes before the performance.

Preparation

Teams will have 1 hour 30 minutes to prepare their rap performance based on the topic.
Teams can use only the materials they have brought during preparation.
